Why Virgin Voyages feels different
An adults-only cruise designed to break from the usual formula.
Virgin Voyages is built for travelers who like the ease of a cruise but do not necessarily want the traditional cruise experience. There are no children’s clubs, no traditional main dining room, no assigned nightly table and no conventional buffet line.
The result is a ship that feels more like a collection of restaurants, bars, lounges, performance spaces, wellness areas and outdoor decks that happen to travel from one destination to the next.
Dining without the usual add-ons
Dining at 20+ eateries is included in the voyage fare. Select menu additions and certain dinner shows can carry an additional charge.

Basic WiFi, essential drinks, group fitness classes and entertainment are included, making it easier to understand what your voyage covers before you sail.

Original productions, live performances, parties and pop-up programming are part of the onboard experience.
The Galley uses a food-hall format, while the ship’s restaurants focus on made-to-order meals and distinct concepts.
Alcoholic drinks, specialty beverages, spa treatments, shore experiences, certain premium menu items, select dinner shows and other optional purchases are not necessarily included.
Dining is a headline feature
No main dining room. No traditional buffet. Plenty of choice.
Instead of funneling everyone into the same dining room, Virgin Voyages spreads the experience across individual restaurant concepts and casual venues. It is one of the biggest reasons I think the line works so well for travelers who are skeptical of cruising.
You might move from Korean BBQ one night to Italian the next, then choose an experimental tasting-style experience or a more relaxed casual meal. The ship’s food-hall concept, The Galley, gives you flexible daytime options without the standard buffet-line setup.
Dining reservations can be managed in Virgin’s app, through your online account, with Sailor Services or through your travel advisor, subject to availability.

Where can you sail?

Virgin’s schedule changes seasonally, but the line currently spans warm-weather Caribbean escapes, European itineraries, longer repositioning voyages and select North American routes including Alaska.
Some travelers come to Virgin because they want a specific destination. Others care more about the adults-only onboard experience and choose the itinerary around the dates that work. I can help with either approach.
The Beach Club at Bimini
A signature stop on many Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries.
Bimini combines a beach day with a private-club-style setting, pools, loungers, music and food service. It is not included on every sailing, so the itinerary matters if this is high on your list.

Yes. Virgin Voyages is designed for Sailors age 18 and older. The experience is built around adult dining, nightlife, wellness, entertainment and social spaces rather than children’s programming.
What is included on Virgin Voyages?

Is there a traditional buffet?
